Currently, no independent Stamford-area Chapter of QWAFAFEW exists because the perceived needs of western Connecticut are covered by the NYC-area Chapter (NYC). Most Connecticut-based members and non-member subscribers are registered with NYC. This page is designed to serve the needs of these constituencies.
Most QWAFAFEW events held in Connecticut are joint meetings with the Stamford Society of Investment Analysts (SSIA). The SSIA is a highly valued event partner and an affiliated society. The SSIA website is www.ssia.org and is highly recommended for visiting. SSIA Administrator Helen Marshall may be contact at SSIACENTRAL@aol.com or by dialing 203.852.1222 during normal business hours. Additionally, SSIA events that are deemed to be of most interest to QWAFAFEWers are frequently posted both on this page and on the NYC-Area Schedule of Events. Many SSIA events allow QWAFAFEWers to attend at SSIA-member rates (and the reverse is true as well) but it is best to check with Ms. Marshall to make certain.
Two joint QWAFAFEW/SSIA events are scheduled for Autumn 2004.
